best and favorit parts

My favorite part of the book was the was when everyone fought and the honored king was killed. The reason i liked this part so much was because of the action. The part that I hated the most in the beginning of the book when Taran was living with Coll and Dellben. I hated this part the most because it had know action and was just a bunch of talking.

plot

The main purpose of the story is to entertainer. The story is about a young man named Taran trying to find purpose and wants to do something more with his life rather than be a pig keeper. He wants to help get ride of the evil. It all stars with him chasing around a pig then he begins to fight for something more and is on a quest to save a friend and warn a town of a possible attack. In the end Taran kills the Honored king which was the main treat and saves his Friend. Also warns everyone of the armies that were coming. Through this process Taran finds his purpose and begins to appreciate more of what he has.

final post

over all i really liked the book and thought that it was very interesting and keep me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes fantasy or any one that likes a thriller or something that dose not have very many words and is easy to read.

Charcters

The good guys in the story were: Taran who was an assistant pig keeper, Gurgil was one of the group that traveled with Taran and did not really have any were else to go. Eilonwy who was Tarans girl friend, Dallben and Coll who was tarans only family that lived in Caer Dallben, Hen Wen who was the pig they were casing around the whole book, Melyngar who was Tarans horse, Gwydion who was the prince and Tarans really good friend, Fflewddur who was anouther part of the clan and had the harp that's strings Brock when some one lied, Doil who was the groups guide when they were traveling out of the dawrfe realme. The bad guys were the Honored king who was the leader of the army and was who Taran killed, Arewen who was the king and was in charge of the whole land and all the evil. In this story nothing really changes with any one the bad guys stay bad and that good guys stay good. Taran changes he leans what it means to be a man.

After Taran got over himself he apologized to the crew and they continued. Taran, Eilonwy and Fflewddur as they were starting off their journey from the prison they ran into Gurgil. After they ran into Gurgil they debated on weather or not it would be best to keep him or kill him. they decided to keep him and let him come along. One night when they were camping in the woods Ffewddur said that he was a king and left his people and the harp he had was a gift. the harp could tell when people were lying and the strings would break when someone told a lye. They continued but they discovered that they were being chased by gwythaint. They began to pick up their pace but when they were running from them Gurgil was climbing a tree to get some food and fell out of the tree and severed his leg. this slowed them down but to their luck the creaters backed down and retreated. The group rested up and began to travel again. they came to a big rock wall and did not know who to get around it so Taran decided to let his horse Melyngar try to find the way around the wall and she did. she led them into a ravine were they were attacked by wolves. when all hope seemed lost a man called off the wolves he was a mountain man and could communicate with animals. He led them to his house and healed Gurgils leg and gave them food and provisions for their journey. The place were he lived was a place of peace and no man could find it. Only the animals could find his house.
